Didkovichi granite: delicate beauty
One of the most beautiful types of stone is mined near the village of Didkovichi. It has a delicate pink color with a warm chocolate-brown tint. The rock’s uniqueness comes from its chaotic spots and specks of cream, reddish, burgundy, and even black colors. Stars, dots, and funny blots create microline, while quartz provides a spectacular shine. The stone has medium grain, high strength, and low moisture absorption. These qualities make Didkovichi granite a versatile option for construction and landscape design.
An additional advantage of the mineral is its first, safest level of radioactivity. This makes it possible to use granite for finishing living rooms. The stone is easy to process with professional tools. It can be chiseled and sawn, polished or left matte. In a single project, slabs, paving stones, and split stone of different textures are often combined, depending on the architect’s design.
Didkovich granite and its application
Granite from Didkovich is actively used for interior decoration. It is good for designing reception rooms, living rooms, halls, and other spacious rooms. The warm pink stone gives the interior a cozy feel and looks impressive under bright artificial lighting. Matte polished tiles are suitable for floors and stairs, and individual areas can be laid out with sparkling polished granite.
The stone is also used in landscape design. It is used for paving paths, decorating flower beds, and creating relaxation areas. Sculptors also love this type of granite. Thanks to its texture, granite is easy to polish, engrave, and use to create bas-reliefs and decorative elements.
